Initial Ideas

My groups initial ideas for our thriller were;
We had several ideas; sci-fi, terrorism and gambling.
The title name would be Flashback
The thriller would be about gambling
The plot would be about love gone wrong within the gambling world.

We thought about the characterisation, who would play the characters.

Red Eye

This is the thriller i have chose to do, Red Eye.
This is a brilliant example of a thriller. Every time i watch this film i thoroughly enjoy it as you just don't know what to expect from it as a whole.

The Plot
Red Eye tells the story of Lisa Reisert who after attending the funeral of her grandmother is on her way back to Miami. She takes the much delayed Red Eye flight where she meets Jack Ripner. Soon after take off she realises that she is in fact kidnapped by Jack who needs her in order to assassinate William Keefe, head of Homeland Security.

All of the films below, we have been shown clips of in class. They are good examples of the thriller genre. My favourite film clip out of the three are memento. It was confusing, as it started with the ending as the beginning but this gave it a different element.
